The Lord loves children. His hope is that each child born into the world will choose to live in heaven and be blessed with happiness to eternity. To this end, the Lord inspires angels, parents, and others to love and protect His little ones. This love of children is a genuine gift from the Lord and does much more than provide for their care and safety in this world. A love for children can strengthen marriage by bringing a couple closer together as they look to the Lord and try to raise their children to be useful adults in this world and potential angels for the Lord's kingdom. This love also brings an atmosphere of innocence that can influence everyone in the company of a child.
